We should all have enough supplies (food, water, medicine, etc) to be self-sustainable for a minimum of 72 hours. In the event of a major catastrophe, like a Cascadia Subduction Zone (CSZ) earthquake, we should be working up to a minimum of two weeks of self-sustainability.
